How do I know if a therapist is right for me?
It is important to feel comfortable with your therapist, and so the best thing is to meet them. That’s why I offer a half price initial session, where we can meet and have an informal chat about your goals and expectations, and see whether I am the right therapist for you.

How much will it cost?
I offer an initial session for £25 and all other sessions are £50. Each session lasts for 50 minutes.

What will happen in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to meet and for you to decide how you feel about us working together.  I will ask about what has brought you to therapy, what your expectations are, and what you would like to achieve. I will also invite you to ask any questions you may have.

How many sessions will I need?
This is a difficult question to answer. You may feel considerable relief after just a few sessions of talking through a crisis, identifying the issues and taking some action. For others, your difficulties may have been part of your life for much longer, and many more sessions will be needed. This is something we can discuss at your initial session.

How often will I have to come?
I ask clients to meet on a weekly basis, on the same day and at the same time each week. This enables us to build a level of trust which means we can talk about your concerns .

What if I need to miss a session?
I ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a session, otherwise the full fee will be payable.

Do you offer concessions?
Some concessions may be possible depending on circumstances; please contact me to discuss this.
