Confidentiality
Confidentiality is central to our work together so you are able to talk openly about whatever is on your mind. As a member of the UKCP , HCPC and the BPS , I adhere to their ethical frameworks, and so our work together is confidential, but with the following exceptions:
– I discuss all my client work in professional supervision with a highly experienced therapist which is an industry requirement to ensure best practice. This supervision is also held within a confidential agreement.
– If I have serious concerns about your wellbeing, I may wish to contact your GP or another healthcare professional. I will always seek your consent in the first instance.
– If I feel there may be significant risk of harm to yourself or others, or if a child is deemed to be at risk, I may need to break confidentiality to ensure your, or their, safety.
Cancellations
I ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel a session, otherwise the full fee will be payable.
Insurance
I have professional indemnity insurance.
DBS Clearance
I hold enhanced DBS clearance.
Fees
Weekly psychotherapy/counselling sessions last 50 minutes and are charged at £95.
EMDR sessions last 75 minutes and are charged at £125.
I work with several Health Insurance Providers: Axa Health, Aviva, Vitality and WPA.
